The founder
Matthew Jordan founded Birchbark Operating Partners after eight years as a Marine Corps officer leading strategy, global operations, logistics, and crisis management — environments where plans meet reality fast, and execution is the only currency that counts.
Since leaving active duty, he has served as Chief of Staff to a growing company, operating at the intersection of strategy and day-to-day execution. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at NYU Stern (Class of 2027).
Birchbark exists because most small and mid-sized businesses don't need another advisor — they need someone who will pick up part of the load and carry it. That's the work.
